Duration:
25-35 minutes

This piece of music deals with the fact that amateur musicians are a marvellous phenomenon.
It is written to, because of, in honour of, and with the greatest respect of them.

The symphony takes it starting point in "the big bang" - 12 tones (the tones of the chromatic scale), all trying to get in charge, connected in 4 chords; C minor, D Major, E Major & B flat minor.
Containing 4 movements, mended together with 3 different "Conductors speech", where the conductor gives a clue to what occures him/her at the moment.
Through the symphony, the 4 chords calls for leadership, but they do not get it in a natural kind of manner. At the climax, after Conductors Speech No. 3, the whole ensemble go into a kind of maniac ecstasy, presenting a numberless bunch of themes at the same time, followed by the (as far as I know) world premiere of a notated cell. phone orchestra, played/talked by the whole ensemble.
