1. CONTRASTS (1983)

for 2 players

Custom composed for a special occasion concert at the Music School in Lund (Sweden), to be played this one time (and then no more ever) by the composer, and fellow musician Sveinbjörn Sveinbjörnsson (later Einarsson).

The score is not published, and will never be either.
It only exists on a tape, recorded at the premier performance at the Concert Hall at the Musical School in Lund, 15/12 1983.

2. TERVE (1983)

Scoring: 2 electric Bassoons, 1 electric Trumpet, 1 large Tamtam   Text: Peter Wallin

Duration: 3,33 min.

 This composition deals with the term "maniac"; Music, musicians, performing, composing... The composition is not published (and will never be either by the way, because it is impossible to re-create the magic moments of the premier performance (concerning personality combination, and style and musicianship)).

3. CONFESSIONS (1983) (5 disturbing pieces)

Scoring: Solo Guitar.

By a request from the brilliant guitar player Fredrik Hast, this score was scored.
It is rather impossible to play (some parts of it can maybe be played, but to play the whole composition on one guitar with normal hands: WOW; you are a bastard!!
Maybe never played, but it is possible to reach the score at STIM in Stockholm, Sweden. Good luck...

Not performed yet, as far as I know - and I doubt it never will...

4. SPACE (1984) - A short dream

Scoring: Marimba Solo

Duration: 4-7 Min.

Composed the 25th of December 1984 as a protest!! Too many of the composers of today abuse this fabulous instrument by raping it, constructing violent sounds, using xylophone mallets, and by all means do and create terrible acts to be executed on one of the most tender sounds in musical life!!
This was (and still is!!) my version of the true marimba sound.

5. GRYNING VID ÖRNVÄGEN 52 (1985)

Scoring: Flute & Marimba

Duration: 4 min.

Örnvägen 52 in the town of Lund, Sweden... The address who gave birth to the Spex Society of Lund (SOL). Board member Karolina Splinter lived at this spot at that time. The composition describes a promenade from Örnvägen 52 to the bus station an early morning in December 1984. SOL:s first meeting had just taken place, and board members Morten Hemmingsson, Hugo Tullberg, Karolina Splinter & P.W. celebrating Christmas flippery with some serious dancing around the Christmas tree at the traffic center beside the Polhem School. Composed over a vision between light, shadows & wind. Scenes in the dark, shadowes that appears and disappears on the wall, the unexpectable...

7. ELEGIA PICCOLA (1985) (Revised in 1987)

Composed as a defeat, because of the fact that the day after the first performance started my military service at Lv4 (in memoriam, now gone for ever) in Ystad, Sweden. Created to a concert, especially executed in honour of the composer Karl-Erik Welin. This version will never be performed again (the score do not exist any more), it flew once and never again.
